About us
and the path.

A signature Eastern Head Spa method, grounded in medicine. The story HEADSPA grew from — and the space it lives in.

01 · The story

How
HEADSPA came to be.

“This is a decision that grew out of medical practice and the observation that physical health is directly tied to a person's moral and emotional state.”

I have walked a long road in medicine — from obstetrics to emergency care. I can say with certainty: physical health is directly tied to the head — to a person's moral and emotional state.

Having met that truth in my own work, an idea began to grow: to design signature programmes that bring two worlds together — Eastern techniques and medicine. To make something unusual, something that fits neither a standard salon, nor aesthetic cosmetology, nor a spa.

Behind me — a medical degree, years of practice in aesthetic cosmetology, and time at Rubenhair and a HEADSPA salon. Alongside, I run a personal brand, @skin.tali — a small community that grew around ASMR videos and honest conversations about skin.

HEADSPA is the place where all of this meets in a single ritual. Every programme begins with a scalp diagnosis. Cosmetics are chosen for the person. An hour and a half to three hours, where body and mind receive equal care. I personally design every programme and meet every guest — that is part of the standard, and not delegated.

02 · Training and experience

Six fields,
meeting in one practice.

i.

Medical training

A foundational medical training — the bedrock on which everything else stands. The ability to think precisely, to see connections, to never promise what cannot be proved.

ii.

Aesthetic cosmetology

Years of practice in facial cosmetology: RF, ultrasonic cleansing, Aqua Peel, LED therapy, phonophoresis. European tools, integrated into the Eastern ritual.

iii.

Trichology

A deepening of work with scalp and hair. Full trichology expertise will arrive in autumn 2026, after specialist study. It will become its own programme in our line-up.

iv.

Eastern techniques

Japanese Head Spa, Chinese pressure-point work, the Korean approach to skincare. Not a list of techniques — a single culture of care, where form serves substance.

v.

Choosing the right cosmetics

A personal selection of products for hair type, skin and condition. Davines, Limba, Eastern formulas. Not a one-size-fits-all protocol — a programme for a particular person.

vi.

Integration

The principal skill — bringing it all together. Facial cosmetology not separate from the ritual, but inside it. Medical precision not in place of Omotenashi, but alongside it.

お も て な し

Omotenashi.
The art of true hospitality.

In Japanese culture this is not service, nor courtesy. It is a state in which the host anticipates what the guest needs — before the guest has even thought of it. Without expecting thanks. Without performance. Simply because that is how the ritual is shaped.

This is what we bring to Riga. An Eastern philosophy of care, set within Europe — in central Riga, welcoming guests in English, Latvian and Russian.

03 · The space

Two rooms.
One ritual.

Rūpniecības iela 5 — a place built not by design trend, but by feeling. Every detail serves the stillness: ivory walls, smoked oak, stabilised moss, a water cascade, the scent of Davines.
