Kaze-no-Michi — 'the path of the wind'. In Japanese culture the wind is an unseen touch: it embraces the body without the weight of water. This method holds no water arch. The therapist's hands, the combs and the device-led techniques pass over the scalp like a warm, light touch — in stillness, without the sound of water or steam. Suited to days when time is short, when you'd rather not wet the hair, or when the body asks for a dry, tactile contact.
Mizu-uta — 'the song of water'. In this method, water doesn't wash — it sings. The rhythm of the water arch, the whisper of steam, the weight of soap on the scalp, the warm breath of ozone — all of it is the voice of water, and the body answers. Otonami — 'the wave of sound'. Here, sound carries the water. Singing bowls don't accompany the ritual — they lead it. Their vibration travels through the body where touch cannot reach, at the level of the nervous system and the emotional tone, and the body lets go of time. Every programme begins with a brief scalp diagnosis — that is part of our approach. Durations are given for the full ritual, except hair drying: each guest chooses to dry their hair on their own or with our spa technologist, and that time is not included in the main duration.
On a first visit we recommend Aqua Face & Head Relax Basic or Aqua Sound Basic — these give you a sense of what a full water ritual feels like, and how your body responds.
